Mandana Asgari Biography

Mandana Asgari, a graduate in Microbiology, has been passionate about painting, colors, and art since childhood, and has always been drawn to spiritual and humanitarian subjects. Her social activities began with collaboration in Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), creating valuable experiences for her.

For years, she worked as a graphic designer and art director for a specialized psychology publication called "Science of Success," and simultaneously played a creative role as an editorial member and children's game designer for a children's news publication.

Among her lasting works was the design and implementation of educational games derived from Shahnameh stories and the lives of great figures, which not only impacted children but became a turning point in raising her own child.

Faithful to a promise she made to her teacher, Mandana decided to return to her childhood dream of professional painting and continue it purposefully. She believes that in today's world, humanity's most essential need is peace and the spread of love and affection; therefore, she has focused her artwork on symbols of peace and inspiring narratives of great figures.

Her travels to various parts of the world made her aware of art's valuable place in different cultures and strengthened her belief that art can be a bridge between cultures and a way for human empathy. Mandana Asgari, despite being aware of human shortcomings and limitations, hopefully stands by her commitment to strive for peace, tranquility, and connecting hearts.

Artistic Vision

My artistic vision is founded on the quest for peace, hope, and the connection between humanity, nature, and history. My works are a fusion of tradition and modernity, classic and contemporary, Iranian and global, each conveying messages of tranquility and wisdom to the viewer through color, form, and mythological symbols.

I believe in feminine power, human wisdom, and art as a tool for peace. The women featured in my works symbolize the ability to create change and save the earth from darkness and cruelty. Historical and mythological symbols like Lamassu and Simorgh remind us that the true power of peace can only be found in the combination of wisdom, kindness, and awareness.

In my works, peace doves, olive branches, light and movement are the universal language of tranquility and hope. I strive to create a tangible experience of peace, unity, and beauty for the viewer through the combination of colors, movement, and visual narrative—an experience that transcends time and place and can blossom in every observer's heart.

My art is a bridge between history, culture, mythology, and daily life; an invitation to think, feel, and ultimately act upon the message of inner and global peace.

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they are the architects of the future."

"Blessed are those who choose brush and art instead of endless wars."

Artistic Mission

I want to speak with you about something that has inspired all of my works: Peace.

Peace is not merely the absence of war; peace is the presence of hope and tranquility in hearts, a light that illuminates humanity's path even in the darkest moments. In my works, from the woman riding a horse who saves the earth with the power of love and feminine essence, to the angel who plays melodies of peace with her flute, and from seven girls with seven colors dancing around the earth while peace doves fly around them, all are symbols of this message: peace can be found in wisdom, love, and art.

In some of my works, such as the woman riding the mythological Lamassu, power and wisdom are combined with peace to show that true peace must be accompanied by awareness and kindness. In other works like "Sweet Peace in the Orange Garden," peace is linked to gentleness and life's simplest pleasures; a reminder that even the smallest moments can create a world of tranquility.

Sometimes I place the force of Anima on the throne of kingship to demonstrate the wisdom of peace in governance.

All these works, from classical paintings to Persian miniatures and modern art, have been created with one shared message: peace, the power of collective Anima, wisdom, hope, and art can build a better world.

So let us not only in art, but in daily life, each consider ourselves messengers of peace; every smile, every kind behavior, and every creative movement can have a share in building a better world.

Peace is not just a wish; it is a responsibility and an art that we must practice every day and flow in our hearts and surrounding environment.

Perhaps we cannot change the world all at once, but we can start with ourselves. Through painting, through conversation, through respect, through moments of empathy. And this small change, if repeated in the hearts of millions of people, is what will transform the world.
